General Information
Starting January 2012, agents can now use a new tool that will enable them to download a copy of Workbooth® and either burn it to a blank CD or copy it to a blank USB Thumb/Flash drive (1 GB minimum).
This tool is intuitive and very easy to use - all you need is either a Blank CD (and a CD/DVD burner) or a blank USB Flash drive (1GB min). In our testing, we found that the USB Flash drive actually had Workbooth® loading faster, so if you are willing to try the USB Flash drive option, we recommend it. Before you try the USB Flash drive option, be sure to check and see if your PC can actually boot to a USB removable device (most newer PC's can). To check, you can go into BIOS and see what Boot Options are available or contact your PC's manufacturer.
To begin, scroll down to the next section and ensure you have a compatible device. Once you have done that, scroll down further to download the Burner Utility.
When you have the Burner Utility installed, go to the section that matches which option you are going to choose - Burning to a Blank CD or Burning to a USB Flash/Thumb Drive.
Device Compatibility
Blank CD (CD-R) types and CD/DVD Drives - no known compatibility issues
USB Flash Drives - There is one known compatibility issue and it doesn't relate to a particular brand, but it relates to USB Flash drives that have U3 technology loaded on it. In most cases, if the Flash drive has U3, it will say it somewhere on the flash drive itself. If you have one of these, there are two options:
- Remove U3 - In the U3 link above, there are instructions on LaunchPad removal.
- Replace - Purchase a new flash drive. They are very inexpensive now and can be purchased virtually anywhere.

When you click on the link above, be sure to save somewhere that you can easily remember - like your Desktop
Before you double-click the utility, insert either a blank CD-R (not DVD) or an empty USB Flash drive (must be empty!). Once you
launch the utility, you should see a screen like this:
Burning Workbooth® to a Blank CD
Before you launch the Burner Utility, ensure there is a blank CD-R in your CD/DVD burner. You do not need to run any additional burning software, the utility will take care of that for you.
Here are the steps to burn your own copy of Workbooth®:
- Insert a blank, writable CD into your PC's CD/DVD burner.
- Double-click and launch the Burner Utility - it will be entitled "AtHomeBurner.exe".
- At Step 1 of 7, click on the radio button that says "I am an Existing Employee" and then fill in the login info. The username/password/domain will be the same info you use to log into Workbooth®.
- Click "Login".
- When it says that your system has been configured on Step 2, click "Continue".
- The utility will then verify that your PC meets our minimum requirements and once it confirms you do, click on "Continue".
- On Step 4, select the radio button for "CD/DVD Recorder" and then click on the arrow to select
the drive that has the blank CD in it.
- If the utility verifies there is a writable disk in the CD/DVD recorder, it will say "Blank media successfully detected".
- If the utility cannot detect a writable disk in the CD/DVD recorder, it will say (in red) "Blank Media needed". If this happens, ensure you selected the right CD/DVD drive (if you have more than one CD/DVD drive) or try a different blank CD - the one you put in the drive may be bad. After doing this, click on "Refresh" and the utility should automatically detect the changes.

- Click "Continue" and the utility will then begin to download and burn your copy of the Workbooth® CD.
- Once the process is complete, you will see a message like this:
.
Congratulations - you have now created your own copy of Workbooth® to use. You can repeat this process as many times as you need.
Please remember, it is a Teletech @Home requirement that you have two working copies of Workbooth at all times - this utility will easily help ensure that you always have two working copies and never have to worry about ordering a disk.
Burning Workbooth® to a USB Flash/Thumb Drive
Be sure that the USB Flash drive you wish to use is completely empty before you start the burning utility. In testing, we've found that deleting the files typically works, but we have seen some occasions where it doesn't and a Quick Format ends up working. If you have deleted the files but the utility doesn't see the USB Flash drive as empty, try going to My Computer, right-clicking on the USB Flash drive and selecting Format > Quick Format (FAT32). Warning: This process must be done carefully and it will permanently delete all files on the USB Flash drive. Be sure you have only selected the USB Flash drive when you perform the format.
- Insert an empty USB Flash Drive (1GB min) into an open USB port
- Double-click and launch the Burner Utility - it will be entitled "AtHomeBurner.exe".
- At Step 1 of 7, click on the radio button that says "I am an Existing Employee" and then fill in the login info. The username/password/domain will be the same info you use to log into Workbooth®.
- Click "Login".
- When it says that your system has been configured on Step 2, click &Continue".
- The utility will then verify that your PC meets our minimum requirements and once it confirms you do, click on "Continue".
- On Step 4, select the radio button for "USB Flash Drive" and then click on the arrow to select
the drive corresponds with your USB Flash drive (you can use My Computer to verify)
- If you receive an error message that says "The media must be empty", that means that the USB drive isn't empty. Go into My Computer, delete all of the contents of the USB Flash drive and then click on "Refresh" to continue.
- Once it says "Empty media successfully detected", you can continue.

- Click "Continue" and the utility will then begin to download and install the Workbooth® contents to your USB Flash drive.
- Once the process is complete, you will see a message like this:
