Workbooth Assessment Information
On this page you'll find helpful information regarding what to do after taking the Workbooth Assessment. If you had issues and were unable to take the Workbooth Assessment, please visit our Self Help section for technical assistance.
I Passed the Workbooth Assessment
If you passed the Workbooth Assessment, that means you are done with this step in the process and will be automatically moved to the next step. The record of your Assessment results are automatically updated on our servers and reflected in your record with us (assuming the correct Hirepoint ID/Employee ID and Email Address were typed in during the Assessment).
Please keep in mind that it may take 3-5 days for our systems to be updated with the information that you have passed the Assessment.
I Failed the Workbooth Assessment
Passing the Assessment is a mandatory step in the hiring process; if you do not pass, you cannot move forward.
To continue on in the process, you'll need to resolve the issue that caused you to fail. Here are the most common reasons for failing the Assessment with suggested fixes:
- Not Enough Memory/RAM: Since Workbooth loads in your systems memory, having enough memory/RAM is vital. We require that your system have at least 512MB of available memory/RAM. If you have received this error, you will need to increase the amount of memory/RAM in your PC in order to continue.
- Processor/CPU is too slow: The minimum processor speed we require is 1GHz. If you are CPU/Processor is not
faster then 1GHz, then you will need to either upgrade your PC's CPU or try another PC.
- If you received the "CPU is too slow" message and you have a new dual-core/quad-core CPU (specifically, the i7 core), please reboot and try the Assessment again using the "linux nosmp" cheat code.
- Reporting a Non-NAT Public IP: This error means that you do not have Network Address Translation (NAT) on your Home Network. The easiest way to resolve this is to purchase and install a 4-Port Broadband Router.
- Internet Connection Speed is too slow: This error means that when WorkBooth tested your connection, the speed of your connection tested too slow.
- Display resolution XXXxXXX is less than recommended 1024x786: If you receive this message it means that the screen resolution (i.e. display size in your monitor) is lower than we allow (1024x768 is our required minimum). In order to continue you will need a larger monitor or a computer that can handle higher resolutions.
