If you have been directed to this page, it means that you need to purchase an External USB CD/DVD-ROM--you will not be able to continue in the hiring process until this issue is remedied. Below is an example of what an External USB CD/DVD-ROM is like:
Typically, the price range for an External USB CD/DVD-ROM is about $60-$120. Most major Computer/Electronic Retailers (online too) appear to carry these items and the lowest price we've been able to find so far is $56 (HP @ NewEgg).
Brands that we know work:
- LG
- Hewlett Packard (HP)
- Pioneer
- Samsung
- Sony
Brands that DO NOT WORK
- TEAC
- "no-name" or Generic brands (i.e. names you have never heard of)
Once you receive the External USB CD/DVD-ROM, plug it into your PC and set your BIOS to boot from the External CD/DVD-ROM first. Then, put the Workbooth CD into the drive and boot to Workbooth and take the CD Assessment.
